5 Most Anticipated PS4 Exclusives Coming in 2015

2015 is already shaping up to be a great year with an amazing line up of games for the PS4 in January 2015. However, the year looks even more solid as Sony is really keen on pushing it’s lead forward as the console leader in 2015. Today, let’s take a look at the 5 most anticipated PS4 Exclusives that are launching in 2015. Hope you like the list, and as always, your feedback and comments are most welcome!

#5. The Order 1886

Was there a doubt, this would be on the list? The Order 1886 is an all encompassing game when it comes to story, game-play and visuals. With Santa Monica at this game’s helm, The Order 1886 is a single-player adventure game, set in a parallel universe, in London, where Knights, stave off monsters that are half-man and half-animal. Well, sounds like pretty much like a tried and tested formula, but what differentiates The Order 1886, is it’s unique style of presentation.

Now…why this still makes the list despite a less than par performance at E3 2014, is that at some level, we’re still hopeful, that they’ll be able to sort out the little kinks that led to a luke warm experience.

Release Date: February 20th, 2015

#4.Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture

From the developers of Dear Esther, there’s a whole new world that’s coming up in the form of Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture. Very little is known about this game so far, except that it takes place in the 80’s in a post apocalyptic world. Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture will be based around six characters, each telling their own story, and each connected to landmarks in the world that evolve as the game progresses.

But again, there’s very little known about this game; and what makes it interesting is that, if it’s anything like Dear Esther….we’re sold on the concept. The game initially supposed to release for the PC as well, but then finally decided to launch only on the PS4.

Release Date: TBA, 2015

#3. Rime

Now, Rime is one of those games, which gives everyone a welcome break from the blood and gore fest of faster paced games. Having said that, Rime is an open world, 3rd person exploration game which focuses on, you guessed it…exploration!…in addition to that, it got tons of puzzles, crafting, but here’s the twist…you do, all of the exploring and crafting in the day time, only to be thrown into a night that needs you to defend what you have, in a tower defense style game-play.

Very much inspired by Deadlight, the game however sports stunning visuals and artwork, and when the trailer was revealed, many have drawn comparisons to ICO and Wind Waker. It’s an interesting new take on this style of game-play, that has us excited!

Release Date: TBA, 2015

#2. Bloodborne

Not only is Bloodborne one of our most anticipated games, but it’s clearly looking to be one of the best games of the year! Some or even going so far as it call it the ‘Castlevania‘…ok, that might just be us, but clearly with it’s awesome offensive approach with sweeping moves and dashes, RPG elements, it’s unique risk vs reward style, and dynamic arsenal which includes a 2 mode style for weapons – one of close combat and one for effective crowd control, and from what we’ve seen…you’ll being doing a lot of both! and, there’s some interesting multi-player elements too!

The game is somewhat inspired by Dark Souls and Demon Souls, differentiated probably by pace and offence. Overall, Bloodborne looks really good, plays well (on video at least), the only thing remaining will be to actually get the game and check it out. This is one game, that looks awesome!

Release date: March 2015.

#1. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

Naughty Dog is finally bringing Uncharted to to the PS4. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End was announced towards the end of last year, it promises to be an adventure that’s typical of Nathan Drake, and Naughty Dog claims it’s going to be

his greatest adventure yet and will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he’s willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves.

We’ll just have to wait and see for ourselves won’t we? Either way, the story takes places many years after Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, and based on the game-play we saw last month (video above), it looks amazing!
