The Game Druid was established in 2013; however our roots began to set way back in 2006. We started off as a little blog, almost insignificant in the blogosphere, fueled by passion for gaming; and 6 years later we knew what we wanted to be – your one stop shop for all things gaming, comics and collectibles, in India.
Being gamers and collectors ourselves, we knew how difficult and time-consuming it was to find rare, mint-condition comics, toys and collectibles in India and we decided to do something about it. Right from the 8bit Nintendo days (it went by Media Megadrive or Little Master in India – you remember don’t you?), to walking into Sapphires (Bangalore); to browsing through comics at Gangarams; we’ve seen it all – and hence the idea of creating a unified experience of a store and our blog – we not only bring you you’re favorite collectibles and merchandize; but also insights, reviews, news and expert opinions on all things pop culture related.
Our goal is simple; to make The Game Druid the “go-to” source and experts for the latest and greatest action figures, bobble heads, toys, gifts, collectibles and Pop Culture news, reviews, previews & more…all with the Indian audience in mind.
And through it all, we’re going to strive to maintain our user-centric focus, exceptionally high standards, and customer-applauded excellence in client service… plus our sense of humor!
